THE WINE
The Zibibbo of the Tenute Orestiadi winery is produced with 100% Zibibbo grapes that grow in the vineyards owned by the winery and located in the Belize valley; here the white soils are clayey-calcareous and are located about 450 meters above sea level.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking which takes place in steel. The wine ages for about 4 months in steel. After assembly and bottling, the wine is left to rest in the cellar for a few more months before being placed on the market.
THE TASTING
Intense yellow with greenish reflections. The aroma is elegant with pleasant fruity hints of citrus and yellow melon, which alternate with floral notes. Fresh and sapid on the palate, this wine is certainly well balanced with a good correspondence between aroma and flavor. Persistence is also good.
FOOD PAIRINGS
It goes well with fish and shellfish. Must try with raw fish.
