THE WINE
The wine “L’Isola rose” of the Hibiscus winery is produced with 100% Nero d’Avola grapes grown organically in the vineyards owned by the winery; vineyards located on the island of Ustica where the soils are of volcanic origin. It is a new wine that makes its debut on the market with the 2018 vintage. A gem in perfect Hibiscus style that must be tasted.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking in white. After fermentation, the wine ages for about 6 months in steel and after bottling, it rests for another 3 months in the cellar before being placed on the market.
THE TASTING
Pale pink in color. The aroma is broad and fragrant with pleasant fruity notes of red fruits that alternate with mineral hints. Fresh and savory on the palate with a good correspondence between aromas and flavor. Persistence is also good.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect as an aperitif, it also goes well with fish. Try it with seafood, even raw.
