The Wine
The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG extra dry Millage is part of a line of fresh and colorful sparkling wines produced by La Marca winery. It is done with 100% Glera grapes grown in the hills of Valdobbiadene.
THE WINEMAKING
After the harvest, only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking. The bunches are pressed very softly, than the must ferments with the help of selected yeasts, in steel tanks at a temperature of 15 ° C. The wine is then moved to the autoclave for the sparkling process with the Martinotti method.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow with greenish reflections. The perlage is fine and persistent. The aroma is intense and elegant with delicate fruit notes that alternate with hints of acacia. Fresh and harmonious on the palate with a good correspondence between the aromas and the taste with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with fish even raw. Try it with cuttlefish ink risotto
