Integrated production involves a drastic reduction in the use of pesticides; this technique exploits the biotic and abiotic factors of internal regulation to ecosystems to its advantage, not limiting itself therefore to chemical means. Used mainly in the fight against insects, it can be extended in the fight against all harmful organisms (fungi, rodents ..). Its goal is to keep the harmful organism within a threshold, beyond which the organism itself creates economic damage (it does not want to reach eradication, but to contain it).
