On 5 and 6 May in Lucca, for the 17th time, the Wines of the Coast preview is back. The purpose of this event is to tell and present the vineyards caressed by the sea breeze through tastings and seminars. It will be held in the halls of the Real Collegio. During the week-end, guests will be wine-grower guests, from the youngest to the most expert, who will allow fans to enjoy their products.

Exhibitors

Over 600 labels of companies from the Tuscan coast will be guests in Lucca. Wines, which come from the territories of the five provinces: Massa Carrara, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno, Grosseto. In addition to the previously named guests: international from Hungary and Tuscany of Chianti, Brunello and inland provinces.

The event

During the days of Wines of the Coast preview, organized by the Grandi Cru and Event Service Tuscany associations, space will also be given to the Tuscany of the internal provinces; in the program there is in fact a tasting masterclass called “Selvapiana: the history of Chianti Rufina”. There will also be tasting workshops that will be dedicated not only to the Tuscan lands but also to Sicily: in fact they will talk about Etna, as well as a seminar on the Re Nebbiolo  that will talk about the territories of Lessona, Valtellina, Barolo and Barbaresco. However, the eye will also move beyond the Italian borders, thanks to the selection of Tibor Gal Hungarian wine-growers will be presented.

In this edition of Wines of the Coast preview, will be paid tribute to Sassicaia to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first production. To best celebrate a tasting scheduled for Saturday 5 May held by great guests.

In addition to wine in this edition, the program widens and compares itself with the areas of food, literature, art and music. In this period the Lucca Classical Music Festival also takes place in the city. Real Collegio, May 4, at the end of the exploration of the Tuscan wine landscape.
