“It is in us that landscapes have landscape. So if I imagine them I create them; if I create them they exist; if they exist I see them.” From Borgo San Daniele you see the landscape without imagining it and it hits your eyes. Everything is so perfect that it seems to have been made on purpose, but I believe that every single stone is where it belongs. This makes the place perfect!

The winery

In Borgo San Daniele, Alessandra and Mauro Mauri (sister and brother), with elegance and sweetness, manage the 18 hectares of land with biodynamic principles. The genuineness and great competence of those two is channeled with powerful results in their wines. The winery is always looking at collaborations and focused to the future. Been able to listen to the great projects Mauro has in store is a great motivation for me, but also for the whole region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The wines

The Borgo San Daniele wines are structured wines. Intense and velvety reds, rich of elegant aromas, harmonious and varietal the whites. The proximity of the Julian Pre-Alps which act has shelter from cold winds and the influence of the nearby Adriatic coast which guarantees a mild microclimate, make these wines of a high level. But also make this a great place to tell a story and share it with friends.
