Located in the d.o.c. del Collio extends the 30 hectares of the Castello di Spessa estate, to which are added the 55 hectares of the d.o.c. Friuli Isonzo.These vineyards are part of the noble tradition, whose wines are highly appreciated since the sixteenth century.

The territory

The Collio includes the striking northern hill range of the province of Gorizia. This territory, dedicated to valuable viticulture, extends close to the border with Slovenia and develops along an ideal East – West route. The climate is particularly mild and temperate. The proximity of the Julian Prealps is an effective shelter from cold winds and the proximity of the Adriatic Sea contributes to limiting thermal excursions.
