Collisioni, the “Agrirock Festival” in Barolo

Collisioni, the “Agrirock Festival” of Barolo means that the great names of culture, music and Italian and world cuisine are combined with the enological excellences of Italy. Designed by Filippo Taricco.

Event and guests

The highlight of the tenth edition will take place on June 30th and July 1st. Momolo where on the stages of Barolo there will be names like Mauro Corona, Niccolò Ammaniti, Antonella Clerici, the Pulitzer Prize Michael Cunningham, Bernardo Bertolucci, Paolo Crepet artists like Elio and Le Storie Tese (also in concert on June 29th) Piero Pelù, Luciano Ligabue, and then again Erri De Luca, Irvine Welsh (the Scottish writer author of Trainspotting), Piero Chiambretti, the chef Bruno Barbieri, the Antimafia prosecutor Giancarlo Caselli, Marco Travaglio and Vittorio Sgarbi, among others. That will be followed by evening concerts with Pezzali, Nek and Renga on June 30th, and July 1st in Caparezza. Finally, after the festival there will be events with the likes of Depeche Mode (July 2nd), Steven Tyler, Aerosmith (July 24th) and Lanny Kravitz (July 28th). Before, during and after the festival will also develop the program of the Wine & Food Project of Collisioni, led by the senior Editor of Vinous and creator of Idigena, Ian D’Agata. Here professionals from all over the world and enthusiasts will meet in front of the great wines of the territories and producers from all over Italy.

Wines

Piedmontese excellence, Barolo all’Alta Langa and the many declinations of Nebbiolo and Barbera. Prosecco di Conegliano and Valdobbiadene Docg, Franciacorta, the Marchigiano Tutela Vini Institute, Molise, the Enoteca Regionale Lucana, and the wines of Abruzzo, Emilia Romagna, Puglia, Sicily, Sardinia and Friuli Venezia Giulia. To get to the producers of one of the most important wines of Italy, Amarone della Valpolicella, with the “Historical Families”.

This is just a taste of what awaits you: more than 70 invited international wine & food professionals. Sommeliers, restaurant owners, journalists, buyers, educators and opinion leaders from the five continents.

Between June 26th and July 2nd you can attend round tables, educational, speed-dates and seminars to deepen the knowledge of wines and food products of over 16 different Italian regions.

News

This year, there will also be sommeliers from Italian starred restaurants. On the front line there will obviously be the most important ones present in our peninsula. But even the less known ones will find the visibility they deserve. Visitors will hear stories told directly by their producers.

A good opportunity to listen to good music and taste good wine! And this is just one of the many opportunities offered by this wonderful summer festival!
