DoctorWine at Vinitaly

Hello everybody Vinitaly is around the corner and the agenda is getting more interesting as the days pass by; today I want to pose your attention to the presence of DoctorWine at Vinitaly. On Monday 9th of Aprile at 9.30 am, hall 10 (stand A4-B4); DoctorWine will drive a wine tasting event offering only Italian wines of very high quality.
Are you wondering who is  DoctorWine?  DoctorWine is the first online magazine fully dedicated to wine and other spirits; founded and directed by Daniele Cernilli, today it is a reference point for experts and wine lovers.

DoctorWine at Vinitaly : The DoctorWine selections

During this event you will have the change to taste more than 100 wines (reds, whites and sparkling) and during the tasting you will have the support of expert sommeliers who will guide you in the discovering the quality and different shades of the wines you have chosen.

Tips for the tasting

Considering the wide choice, I believe you won’t be able to taste all the wines available so here below I have highlighted some of my favorites wineries…

Scubla from Friuli Venezia Giulia. Winery located in the southern part of the eastern hills of Friuli  (north east of Italy); this is the area where are produced wines with extraordinary  aromas and flavours. Their production is limited and this allows a great care on the grapes and as a consequence on the wine.

La Tunella from Friuli Venezia Giulia. The winery is located in the heart of the eastern hills of Friuli (north east of Italy), territory that thanks to the  terror (sandstone and marmas mixture) and the  clima (favorable and unique) is known at world wide level for the production of white wines of great value.

Colterenzio from Trentino Alto Adige. This is one of the youngest wineries of the region; basically about 300 families that got together and decided to join their passion in order to produced high quality wines.

Fattoria le pupille from Tuscany. The story of a courageous family who decided to turn a typical Tuscan farm into a hight quality winery production wines now sold all over the world.

Planeta from Sicily; a family history five centuries long, where with a lot of passion, managed to produce quality wines known at international level.
