The Maurizio Zaccomer winery

The Zaccomer winery was founded in the ’60s in Nimis in the province of Udine. At the time the owner was Valentino, father of Maurizio who now runs the company. Its purpose is to preserve the characteristics of the family management and the ancient traditions of Friuli of making good wine. At the same time, however, it embraces the adoption of modern technologies.

Production

Sign of an important dynamism of this company are the progressive enlargement of the vine area, the reorganization of the autochthonous varieties present and the restructuring of the cellar to adapt it to new production needs. Important red wines such as Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Schiopettino are aged in barrique.

The wines

The Zaccomer winery offers a wide selection of white wines such as Ribolla Gialla, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Friulano and Traminer. All these products are young, fresh and fragrant wines. Among the red wines Maurizio produces Merlot and Cabernet Franc and also important native wines of great structure such as Refosco, Schioppettino and Pignolo are aged in wood. In addition, Maurizio Zaccomer produces the Picolit wine, also one of the most important regional wines, a sweet white wine with a very elegant and complex bouquet. The Zaccomer winery has dedicated fifty years of its experience to succeed in giving its wines a unique and special flavor. The aim is to reflect the character and the generous soul of the people of this land.

Ramandolo

The great passion for Ramandolo pushes Maurizio Zaccomer to improve the drying techniques and the use of wood for aging. A sweet white wine obtained by drying the Verduzzo friulano grapes grown in the vineyards with the best exposure. This product reflects the best characteristics of the people of the lands where it is produced, always devoted to work and sacrifice. Among them also the owner who managed to bring this special wine beyond national borders.

So you can not miss the opportunity to taste this good wine!

Good day
