A visit to the winery

There is a place where I like to go and rest when I need to break away from the routine … I love to be quiet, away from the madness, in a place where I can breathe nature …

This is what can happen to you if you happen to go to Galliano (Cividale del Friuli) and visti the terrace of the La Luna Storta winery. You just need to sit in the welcoming outdoor sitting area overlooking the vineyard  that Beatrice Pascolini inherited from her father.

Here you can feel the nature surrounding you. You are being embraced by the breathtaking panorama; you will feel the northern breeze that touches your skin and the balsamic scent that comes from the sea. Breathe in deeply. There is also the sweet sound of cicadas, a real ear softener.

Beatrice and Loris who manage the La Luna Storta winery with great humanity and attention, will welcome you in this environment, which is a balm for the spirit.

Loris is very pragmatic man, competent and fully dedicated to the vineyard and the cellar; Beatrice, on the other hand, is a very sweet woman, attentive to details and with a marked sensitivity and respect for all that the earth and nature grants her. A perfect combination that you can rediscover in the wines they produce.

To frame this painting which is just brilliant and contemporary, there is the mascot Schioppettino: a foundling kitten who approached the winery about 4 years ago during the harvest of the schioppettino. That’s where he got its name from.

I can not help but advise you to taste all 4 wines produced by the company because it is the maximum expression of the territory and of the people who live it.
