The Lambrusco wines from the Barbolini winery

Barbolini is one of the oldest cellars of the Colli di Modena. It was founded in 1889. It is located in an area renowned for the Lambrusco di Castelvetro. Today is the fourth generation to take care of the winery: Anna Barbolini, Mauro and Matteo Buffagni to take care of all stages of production. Thanks to them a gradual transition to the organic cultivation of the 15 hectares of the winery is taking place. The work in the vineyard starts first of all by respecting the environment and typicality. Short pruning and thinning of the bunches, few treatments and a lot of attention among the rows.

The Lambruschi

The Lambrusco wines from the Barbolini winery are intense and subtle, never over-laden, but set more to finesse and balance to keep the characteristics of Lambrusco’s freshness intact. Crisp wines, which seduce by their great drinkability, centered on the character of the vine. The clay and limestone soils infuse a nice flavor, excellent to accompany the tasty Modenese cuisine.

Nero di Nero, Lambrusco di Grasparossa of Castelvetro DOP 2012

Ruby color. The scent refers to an undergrowth of small red fruits, violets, aniseed and herbaceous returns, all framed by a delightful reminder of Mediterranean scrub. In the mouth it is snappy, sharp, with sapidity to give thrust to a slender body, but leaves the mouth fascinated and ready for the next sip.

Lambrusco Grasparossa of Castelvetro Lancelot PDO 2012

Ruby color, mottled purple, splendid froth. The smell is complex, enveloping the nose completely with a swirl of petals and red fruits fleshy like black cherries and blackberries, even in spirit. In the mouth it is equally voluptuous, full, punctuated by mineral streams that make this Lambrusco elegant.

Lambrusco Grasparossa of Castelvetro Amabile Trimalcione 2012

Persuasive and round perfume with strawberries, cherries and irises. In the mouth the sweetness is just a hint, embraced by an excellent flavor that finds a thrust in the freshness of sour cherries and licorice.

Do not miss the chance to taste the wonderful Lambruschi just described with friends and relatives, and more!

Good day!
