Only Wine Festival returns for the fourth consecutive year on April 28th and 29th. This is the first exhibition dedicated to young producers and small cellars, which will be held in the Historic Center of the City of Castello.

The complete program of the fifth edition of the Only Wine Festival was presented on Monday, April 16th at Vinitaly. Like every year the protagonists will be the best 100 small wineries and producers under 40, who will have the opportunity to exhibit and let taste the best of their production. Selected by Ais (Italian Sommelier Association throughout Italy). There will also be a market exhibition where you can also buy individual bottles of wine from the cellars and producers present.

Wine tasting

There are tasting tables inside the historic Bufalini palace. There will be guided themed tastings every day, an opportunity that gives the possibility to get to know the characteristics of the wines, thanks to the help of the best sommeliers and producers.

Speed wine area

For the 2018 edition a special ‘Speed ​​wine area’ has been set up in piazza Gabriotti with short courses lasting about half an hour that in a few steps, aim to provide wine lovers with some of the basic rules of the tasting.

News of 2018 will also be the original Speed ​​food: the wines will be paired with some of the typical products par excellence, with the idea of ​​celebrating the quality of the Italian table even better.

Orange Wine Area

Another novelty of the 2018 edition of the Only Wine Festival will be an entire area dedicated to the ‘Orange wine’ with a selection of 15 producers, whose goal is to make known and appreciate this new style of wine.

The International wine area will be dedicated as in previous years to a selection of young producers and small cellars in other European countries.

The Umbria Pavilion

The Umbria Pavilion, on the other hand, will host a selection of small wineries and young producers from the region hosting the festival.

Wine and food

Obviously the combination of wine and food could not be missing. Accompany the young producers and the best sommelier Ais chef of the first order. On Saturday evening there will be a dinner-tasting of excellence with Isabella Potì, a pastry chef from Salento, who will be accompanied by Floriano Pellegrino, owner and chef of the Bros restaurant in Lecce, which Forbes has included among the “under 30” from the future growing. The first gala will be on Friday evening, with host Fabiana Download, the young winner of Top Chef 2017, together with Luca Martini.
