QWine Expo – The Italian wine fair in China

Registrations are open for the new edition of QWine Expo, the international wine fair where Italy is the real protagonist

QWine Expo is the first international fair on the Asian market where Italian wine has a leading role. In 2018, 110 Italian wineries have accepted the invitation of the Qingtian Municipality, the Chinese overseas city , participating in an unmissable event to enter the Chinese market.

QWine Expo is a project wanted and financed by the Qingtian municipality, the Zhejiang Province and the city of Lishui. The city of Qingtian is located in Zhejiang which is one of the richest and most commercially interesting provinces in all of China with a market ready to welcome the Italian wine that is still not very present here.

In the 2018 edition, Italy played a very important role; perhaps for the first time in China, Italy has had a more massive presence than countries like France or Spain. A way to strongly reinforce the role of world’s top wine producer.

I had the chance to talk to some of the participants at the first edition of the fair and the response was unanimous; fantastic experience, perfect from the logistic side but even more from the human one. Even in China the passion for Italian wine is very evident and the people attending the event had a good wine knowledge, lot of passion and were willing to learn and taste all the Italian excellences.
