You just need to look at a dark spot, to the North East; but make sure you have a good glass of wine in your hands.
Nice to know
- The stars represent the tears San Lorenzo shed when he died on hot coals on the 10th of August 258.
- The shooting stars we see are not real stars, but space debris; when they collide with the earth’s orbit, create this luminous rain called meteor shower.
- The shooting stars are called Perseids (the famous greek myth), because they forme in the heart of the constellation dedicated to Perseus.
I also have the great fortune of living in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region that offers breathtaking views from the seas, the hills and the mountains. So if you decise to come over here to have a more closer look to the starts, I suggest you stop at the Talmassons observatory. (here is the link to their site if you want to know more.)
Or get a blanket, look for a quiet place away from the lights and organize a picnic dinner; make sure you have a nice cold botte of sparkling ribolla gialla zero dosage by Collavini winery. Lie back and enjoy the show with all your senses.
Best wishes to all !!!!
