The Raboso wine of the Bervini winery

Ciao,

Here I am, ready to talk to you about a new wine I tasted… this time, I chose the Raboso from the Bervini winery. I’ll tell you immediately that it was a remarkable discovery for my friends and me.

When I suggested it, my friends called me crazy. They have always associated this grape variety with grandparents’ house wine, and none of them had an excellent memory, but I amazed them!

100% raboso; after winemaking and refinement, the wine is transferred to the autoclave to make it sparkling (Martinotti method). Here it rests for at least 25 days at a constant temperature of 17°C.

The outcome is an almost purplish-coloured wine with a beautiful, super creamy foam.

I suggest you keep it in the fridge and serve it at a temperature of 6/7 C°; it’s perfect as an alternative to the classic prosecco for your aperitifs. I paired it with beef tartare, but it goes very well with cold cuts and is ideal with salami.

The Winery

I’ll tell you a few things about the winery. The winery is located in Chions in the province of Pordenone, a lovely location in an old spinning mill, while the owned vineyards are in Sequals, also in the area of Pordenone, in the heart of the DOC Grave del Friuli.

It is essential to know that the winery believes that organic farming is the right choice to protect the environment and human health. For them, it is vital to work as nature commands.

So…

Since we are approaching summer, it’s the right time to taste this wine! Until mid-June, using the Bervini code, you will get a 10% discount on Raboso and all the wines of the winery.

Good tastings, and, as always, let me know if you liked it!

Till next time

ciao

Monica
