Christmas is almost upon us! And with it there are also dinners among colleagues, friends and family! This year, instead of opting for the classic Pandoro and Panettone, opt for a more original version! The special panettone cakes with nougat cream: they are single portions made up of panettone disks filled with a delicious nougat mousse.
Ingredients
(doses for 4 turrets)
– 400 gr of panettone
– 150 gr of Greek yogurt
– 50 g of powdered sugar
– 150 gr of hard nougat
– 150 gr of cream for desserts
– Raspberries
Method
Start by cutting the nougat into small pieces, then chop it in a mixer. After letting the yogurt drain for an hour, place it in a bowl with the icing sugar and stir until a smooth cream is obtained. At this point add the chopped nougat and mix well. Whip the cream well and add it too gently to the mixture, incorporating it with a wooden spoon. Cut the panettone into thick slices and cut into 8 discs. Now add the cakes directly in the serving dish. Inside the pastry rings put the first panettone disk that will be the base. Cover it now with the nougat mousse and close it with the second disc. Compact everything well and proceed in the same way for other cakes. Decorate them spreading another thin layer of nougat mousse, a few small pieces of panettone, powdered sugar and a raspberry, to give a touch of color to this delicious dessert. Keep it in the fridge for up to 5 minutes before serving. Perfect if accompanied with a good sparkling wine.
