The Tre Bicchieri 2018 at Vinitaly

The appointment with Tre Bicchieri will take place for the fifth year, bringing to the attention of a large international audience the excellent agricultural and food products produced in Italy. It is a stage of the Worldtour that every year Gambero Rosso organizes in over 30 world capitals. From 11.30 to 16.30, at the Silver Hall, the sector operators will have the opportunity to participate in one of the most exclusive events in the Italian wine scene. It is a free event but reserved only upon invitation to operators in the sector.

What is Three Glasses?

Tre Bicchieri is a collaboration between Gambero Rosso and Veronafiere that aims to bring to Vinitaly 2018 the great tasting of wines that have been awarded the 2018 edition of “Vini d’Italia”. Thanks to its 31 editions, this guide has become over the years the most widespread and authoritative guide to Italian wines, it is made by a team of over 50 experts, headed by the curators Marco Sabellico and Gianni Fabrizio.It is spread all over the world thanks to the translations in different languages : German, English, Chinese and since some years also in Japanese.

The 31st edition has evaluated the various productions of almost 2500 companies and has reviewed one by one over 22 thousand types of wines. Among these, 436 were selected: those who obtained the Tre Bicchieri, the highest recognition given by the guide.

At Vinitaly’s Sala Argento1, you can have the opportunity to taste over 220 wines through a unique path, reserved for the labels that have obtained the highest recognition in the Wines Guide of Italy 2018, at its 31st edition.
