Vinitaly and the tour of Italy

Hello All, spring is about to start and as you know during spring time in Verona there is the largest Italian event dedicated to the wine; I am talking about Vinitaly.

Logistics
This year the fair takes place from April 15th to April 18th; the access is open all day from 9.30 am to 6 pm ; you can buy the tickets now; you have 2 options:  daily ticket or 4 days ticket (covering the full event);  I also remind you that  you must be over 18 in order to access the fair.

Vinitaly and the city
The daily program is not available yet; I will keep an eye on it and share it with you as soon as it is available. For the moment been I would like to draw your attention to a very interesting event organized in connection with Vinitay;  From the 13th to the 16th of April if you are in Verona you will be able to do a tour through Italy without leaving the city; basically you will discover wines, cuisine, and traditions of different Italian regions by walking through the best streets and squares of Verona; all with the addition of music, shows, craft and food and wine tastes.  the tour will be divided in steps and in each step you will find a different region of Italy; each region will enchant you with its art, its famous characters and of course its food and wine that you will be able to taste.

Another fun feature is  the  “wine passport” ; basically when you start your “wine walk” you will be given a “wine passport”  which rapresents your travel document; everytime you reach a new square and therefore a new region, you will get a stamp; if you managed to do the entire tour and get all stamps you will get a “certificate of attendance” and you will be part of a special price draw.
