On 20 May 2018, enological and artistic treasures will be reconciled in Rome. It will be the third edition of “Wine and Art that passion”. Event designed and realized by CT Consulting Events.
Location
The location will be the Casino dell’Aurora Pallavicini, a Roman Baroque palace dating back to the beginning of 1600. Included in the architectural complex of Palazzo Pallavicini Rospigliosi, once the seat of the Emperor Constantine’s Baths.
As it was in the past, the Casino is a point of reference for the cultural life of the city. In fact, it finds in the structure an extremely suggestive place, characterized by an unchanging architecture over time. The name of this magical place is inspired by a painting by Guido Reni, ‘Aurora’, placed in one of its rooms.
Wine
This special event allows you to taste fine wines by visiting some of Italy’s finest private art collections. It is also an opportunity to meet producers and taste the highest quality labels. Accompanied by descriptions of the most experienced sommeliers in the country. You will discover the secrets of the cellars that will present their best productions. More than 50 are selected Italian wineries.
Art
As for the artistic scene, this year has been enlarged. Guests will have the opportunity to explore and contemplate various works of art. The works of Guido Reni, Luca Giordano and Annibale Carracci. The façade is embellished with slabs of Roman sarcophagi from the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD Ancient sculptures such as the Minerva, the Diana hunter and the statues of the “Scala della Pastorella”.
“Wine and Art that passion” is in my opinion a very special event. It gives the possibility to those who visit it to grow culturally and to refine their oenological knowledge. All in a very pleasant and suggestive context.
If you intend to take part in the event, let me know how it went! Good day everyone!
