In 2012 a group of natural winemakers decided to bring their message to Vinitaly. From this decision the ViViT and the Vi.Te – Vignaioli e Territori association were born. Responsible for the selection of winemakers involved, year after year, in this new adventure.

The ViViT news at Vinitaly 2019

After seven editions of ViViT, the Vi.Te – Vignaioli e Territori association, composed of over 150 winemakers from all over Italy, but also from France, Slovenia and Austria, felt the need for a further step.

In April 2019, the winemakers of Vi.Te – Vignaioli e Territori will present themselves at Vinitaly in the new space “VI.TE”. Characterized by the logo and the colors of the same association, it is located inside the new “ORGANIC HALL” pavilion. In this new space will take place Conferences and Masterclass related to agriculture and wine production, which will take place within Vinitaly between 7 and 10 April 2019. They will propose a different look on the relationship between wine, production and territory of origin . It has long been observed an explosion of interest by consumers for a healthier agricultural, food and wine production, respectful of the environment and linked to the territory of origin.

The goals

The opportunity to bring greater clarity about the growing confusion and misinformation about what it means “biological”, “natural”, “sustainable”, and so on. The fundamental objective will be to shed light on these issues to an international audience of journalists and operators in the sector such as Vinitaly. The main task of Vi.Te today is to continue this process of development and promotion of knowledge and culture that is generated in the personal relationship with the land and wine. Diversity, awareness and presence: this is what the natural winemaker is.

AREAVITE19

Lastly, the invitation by AREAVITE19 was also confirmed, mainly for foreign buyers and importers, journalists and a very limited number of operators in the sector. “Free” tasting tables, food specialties prepared by artisans of taste and meeting opportunities, a stone’s throw from the fair. This year they will be developed over two days, from the early afternoon of Sunday 7 to the evening of Monday 8 April, with the long-awaited celebration of Vi.Te.
